Richter, Miller & Finn, established in 1983, is a small private law firm with its main office in Northern Virginia, about 25 miles directly west of Washington, D.C. Its main office was in Washington from 1983 to June, 2009 when it was relocated to Catharpin, Virginia. The firm continues to maintain office arrangements in Washington, D.C. and other locations for use as needed in its business.

We engage in the practice of business related law covering a broad range of transactional matters, litigation in Federal and State courts throughout the United States and administrative practice before particular government agencies for business clients and other law firms based in the U.S. and elsewhere.

Most of our work comes from present or former clients, and referrals from other law firms or lawyers or clients. Some clients of the firm have been with the firm and with lawyers in the firm for more than 35 years. English is our working language, but we have encountered and dealt with materials in more than twenty other languages. We have reasonable in-house working capabilities in several languages and provide a listing of other languages encountered in our work.
